A rather doodly sketch that turned into a full-blown thing, with all sorts of anatomical blurps but... well, it's done XD.

My original characters Madeleine Desrosiers and Amor Silver have been, like, the MOST CANON OTP in my head ever since I was eight years old. But I never draw them much or even talk about them! _{they're my favourite couple after Leen and Lay and it's just like WHY DON'T I EVER DO ANYTHING WITH THEM ASDKFLS;GHSKL;J}

Because I use these guys for roleplay, their stories are always different, but I have a few absolute key points I keep in mind about their characters every time I use them.

Silver (which was his original (family) name; his first name was tacked on later when I made a sexy brother for him) is kind of a hotheaded genius. He's fantastic at the sciences--especially chemistry--but he's quite the snarky bastard with a mean streak. He's a total badboy and actually likes to pick fights, and if he wasn't so damn socially prickly, there'd be women falling over him all over the place--he's got a pretty face (because no male character of mine is ever realistic, let's be honest). Of course, there's a reason for his deliberate keeping of other people at arm's length. He is troubled. He comes from an extremely abusive family and violence is basically his element because of it. Despite needing physical brawling as an outlet for his never-ending rage, he's actually extremely morally noble and kind of a gentleman in his own way, as well as having terrible issues of trust and abandonment. It's also kind of a miracle he isn't some bloodthirsty, homicidal sociopath at this point.

Madeleine is the indecisive, good-natured, and rather timid girl. That's about all you can really say about her. She doesn't stand out much--except for her head of flaming orange-red hair which she bemoans--and she actually kind of likes it that way. Madeleine struggles constantly with issues of identity and morality because she's always caught between wanting to be a leader and being too afraid to take that initiative. Tbh, Madeleine is super kind and warm and is completely capable of becoming someone great, but she's very insecure and hasn't quite harnessed all of her potential yet. She's got plenty of daddy issues, i.e. dad ran off and died somewhere when she was a kid and her mom's like a tank, so Madeleine's grown up rather meek and considerate but always having trouble taking a stand for herself. She just wants to fit in and be liked and feel welcomed/accepted, but often she sacrifices her own personality in order to blend with the crowd.

Why I OTP these two polar characters is that they fit. Madeleine is about as aggressive as a cotton ball and Silver doesn't know how to make heads or tails of her. She stays near him because he's so strong, and she's attracted like a moth to a flame; also, Silver's odd chivalric code makes it so that he'll stand up for her and beat the crap out of whoever picks on her. He also... kind of likes her around, because he doesn't feel like he has to be afraid of her hurting him in any way (of course he'll never admit it, that tsundere boy ._. he'll just jabber on about how she's so damn wishy washy that it pisses him off and he wants to whip her into shape). Of course at the same time Maddie's this amazingly earnest little creature who is sensitive enough to pick up on exactly where Silver is comfortable with in terms of boundaries and what wounds to push and what to leave until he's ready, etc. She's the only person he never verbally abuses... I mean, for god's sake, Silver even provokes Lale and NO ONE should EVER provoke Lale homg ;A;. And he's the only one for whom she will take a stand, quite vehemently, in order to protect him.

He makes her budding rose of a personality bloom beautifully, and she trims his thorns so other people can view his beauty up close. She falls for him first and it takes the bloody idiot quite a while to figure out he needs her, too.

AND THEN OTP FEELS.

I have never in my entire life ever separated these two as a couple. so um yeah this description is done, I'm probably going to draw Skye and Aidan next because if there's another two characters from my stupid CORE SET of the 8 Ensemble that I never talk about more than Maddie and Silver, it's Skye and Aidan. /orz
